Maybe not quite what you were asking about, but I have a pink kitchen. I used Cafe Pink from Home Depot.
I didn't paint the entire kitchen though. Just the opposite walls. Unfortunately, no pictures and I currently don't have a camera.

When it's been an issue we've locked the kids in their room. Baby gate at entrance didn't do anything, they could still hear us, we could still them (and they were both able to climb over them, all of them, easily).

If you're against COI, this will not work for you...
Anyway, not sure if the geometry or set up of your house allows for this... but we have a hallway with Thomas's room to the side. We put up a baby gate at the entrance of the hallway.

We moved Kylie up to a "big girl bed" about 6 months ago and she LOVES it!! We were giving her crib to Hannah so we made bed shopping a really big deal and let her pick something out. We got special sheets (she is obsessed with Dora) and a blanket.
